About these terms
OwnYourApps is an educational website for people exploring how to build Shopify store features with AI. These terms describe use of the current free preview. They do not create a paid membership or authorize a charge.
The paid-access and refund provisions below describe the proposed launch policy. Paid access is not available in this preview. The legal seller, business address, support contact and final purchase terms will be published before any paid orders are accepted.
What we provide
The library provides educational articles, sequential AI prompts, examples and selected reference files. Each guide describes its intended scope, evidence and limitations. A guide is not an installed app, a custom development service or a promise to reproduce every feature of a named app.
AI output, integrations and store configurations vary. We do not promise a particular saving, completed implementation, revenue result or compatibility with every theme. A stated limitation does not excuse misleading descriptions or materially defective content.
OwnYourApps is independent of Shopify, the apps discussed and AI providers. Their names identify the products being discussed; they do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Access and pricing
The current preview is free. The displayed $9.99 for 12 months is a proposed offer, not a payment request. Rebuy is free to read. Other guides require owner access; library access buttons do not unlock them.
The proposed paid offer is one payment for 12 months of library access, starting when that access is delivered, with updates published during that period and no automatic renewal. Any final total, applicable taxes, access requirements and material limits must be shown before payment. This is not a lifetime-access offer.
AI subscriptions, API credits, hosting, Shopify charges, paid services and implementation help are separate costs unless a future offer expressly includes them. A modern browser and an internet connection are needed to use the website.
Using the materials
You may read the guides, use the prompts in your AI workspace, and adapt supplied reference files for your own work or work you are authorized to do for a client, including commercial store projects. Any separate licence accompanying a reference file continues to apply.
You may not resell or redistribute the guide library, publish copies as a competing library, share paid access credentials, or bypass access restrictions. You remain free to use your own knowledge and independently created work.
OwnYourApps does not claim ownership of your original implementation. Rights in third-party code, AI output and other materials depend on their applicable licences and terms.
Your builds and store access
Use only stores, files and services you are authorized to access. Test in a development store or unpublished theme, keep backups, and verify security, accessibility, data handling and the actual features you need before changing a live store or cancelling an app.
Do not put passwords, secret keys or customer data into public prompts or feedback. Entering a store URL on this website only personalizes prompt text; it does not grant access to your Shopify account. Saved guides are stored in your browser and may be lost if browser storage is cleared.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and charges. The library does not replace advice needed for a specific legal, financial or security decision.
Refunds and withdrawal
No payment is taken in the current preview. For a future purchase, there is no additional satisfaction or money-back guarantee. The grounds below and any mandatory legal rights still apply.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
A verified duplicate charge or amount charged in error will be refunded or corrected. You do not need to show that the content is defective to report a billing error.
Paid access is not delivered
You can ask for the access you purchased to be supplied or restored. If it cannot be supplied as agreed, applicable cancellation and refund remedies remain available. Where the law allows an immediate remedy, you do not have to wait for an attempted fix.
Opening content does not automatically waive your rights.
For qualifying digital content, any loss of a statutory withdrawal right requires the legally required prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. This preview does not collect such consent. Different rules can apply to digital services. Statutory remedies for missing or defective supply remain separate.
Results and expectations
A change of mind outside an applicable withdrawal right, an implementation that needs more work, or a hoped-for saving that does not occur does not by itself create an additional contractual refund entitlement. This does not prevent a claim about misleading promises, missing access or defective content.
Refunds that are due will be made within the applicable legal deadline, normally to the original payment method without a refund-processing fee. We do not impose a separate short reporting window that removes your statutory rights.
Making a request
There is no paid order or refund-request service in this preview. Before paid sales launch, the purchase flow will identify the seller and support contact and provide any online withdrawal facility required by applicable law.
For a future request, use the contact or withdrawal route shown with your order. Include the order reference or purchase email and enough detail to identify the transaction. For a fault or billing issue, describe the problem; an eligible withdrawal does not require a reason. Never send passwords or full payment-card details.
A clear statement that you wish to withdraw will be sufficient where the law allows it. A particular form, screenshots or an explanation will not be made a condition for exercising that right. Any required receipt confirmation and response deadlines will be respected.
Changes and availability
The free preview may evolve, be interrupted or be withdrawn. For any future paid access, changes must respect the purchased description, applicable update obligations and mandatory rights. A material loss of paid access or promised functionality may give rise to a remedy.
Updates to these terms will carry a new date. They will not retrospectively remove rights arising from an earlier purchase. Material changes to a paid agreement require the notice and other steps required by applicable law.
Your rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, remedies for misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. No term requires you to waive access to a court, competent consumer authority or other remedy available by law.
Applicable law and any mandatory protections determine the rights available for a particular transaction. The legal seller and any relevant dispute-resolution information must be identified before a paid contract is formed.
